FarmVille on Xbox 360 and Windows 7 Phones coming soon

FarmVille Xbox 360
Have you ever been relaxing on your couch, wishing that you could play FarmVille but not wanting to get up and walk to the computer to log on to Facebook? You may find that urge satiated soon, because Zynga will soon be making FarmVille playable on Xbox Live.

According to VentureBeat, the new mobile operating system Windows Phone 7 will be supporting Xbox Live integration right out of the box. This means that phones running this OS will work with more than 60 Xbox Live games. This is an opportunity that Zynga is not likely to miss out on, and Microsoft executive Matt Thompson has confirmed that FarmVille will be one of the games supported. This would bring the farming game titan to two new platforms in one fell swoop.

We're trying to imagine how the FarmVille experience would play out on an Xbox 360. Will they do away with a cursor completely, or use a cursor that is controlled by the directional pad on the Xbox controller? Will Xbox Live chat over headsets work? Will you be able to visit the farms of friends that aren't playing on Xbox? Will this bring any new features to the game? It's all speculation right now, and we don't have any details to share. The first Windows Phone 7 device will be hitting stores this holiday season, so we don't have too long to wait.

What do you think about the prospects of playing FarmVille on your 360? Let us know in the comments!
